Terms of service

What send21 is
send21 is software that prepares payment instructions. It is not a custodian, exchange, broker, money transmitter, or payment service provider. It never holds, transmits, converts, or has access to funds or private keys, and it contains no signing code — every transaction is signed and broadcast by the sender's own wallet, and funds move directly from sender to receiver.
Your responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for your wallets, private keys, and passphrases.
- Verify every address and amount in your own wallet before signing. Blockchain transactions are irreversible; send21 accepts no responsibility or liability for funds sent to a wrong, mistyped, incompatible, or otherwise faulty address.
- Keep your account credentials, API keys, and webhook secrets confidential. Actions taken with your keys are yours.
- Use the service lawfully. You are responsible for your own tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
Fees
send21 charges a platform fee per payment, tiered by payment size. The current schedule is public and machine-readable at /api/v1/fees/schedule and is locked per draft at creation. The receiver always gets the exact billed amount.
Rates and third parties
Fiat conversion rates come from public price oracles and are locked at quote time with recorded provenance; they are informational, not financial advice. Blockchain networks, wallets, and price providers are third parties outside send21's control.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, send21 and its operator are not liable for lost funds, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service — including losses caused by user error, wallet software, network congestion or reorganizations, or third-party providers. Liability is in all cases capped at the platform fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Accounts and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attempt to evade fees, or break the law. You can stop using the service and request account deletion at any time (see the privacy policy).
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes are announced on this page with the date above. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
